Instead of the usual author interview, Article 5 author Kristen Simmons is stopping in for a round of This or That. So check out her preferences and see how they match up against your own! Then be sure to check out her book, already on shelves, because it's seriously great and the boy is HOT.
Lucky Charms or Fruit Loops: Fruit Loops. Leprechauns are scary. Horror movies have been made about leprechauns. When has a horror movie ever been made about a Toucan?
Email or Snail Mail: I love receiving emails. I love sending snail mail. I’m sensing a deeply seated psychological issue here. Something about instant gratification and a lack of empathy.
Bora Bora or Puerto Rico: Puuuuuuerto Rico! My Heart’s Devotion! Let it sink back in the Ocean! (Not really – I choose Puerto Rico. I’ve wanted to go there since I saw West Side Story as a kid.).
Unicorn or Hippogriff: Hippogriff. Specifically: Buckbeak.
Chick Flick or Horror: I detest horror movies (see above concern regarding leprechauns). Therefore, chick flick wins by default.
Boxers or Briefs? Depends on who’s wearing ‘em. *giggles* Sorry. Briefs.
Lipgloss or Chapstick: Chapstick. Lipgloss makes my mouth feel like a flytrap.
Ferrari or Aston Martin: You know, I actually looked at this question and said, “What’s an Aston Martin?” And then I thought maybe it was the name of a character, which, let’s be honest, is a pretty awesome name. And then I realized I’m a loser. It’s a car. So I pick Aston Martin, because as far as I know it’s a car that runs on fruit punch and hovers a foot off the ground.
Sofa or Recliner: Recliner. So many comfort options.
Firefighter or Policeman: Firefighters. I’ve never seen a sexy policeman calendar, but I’ve seen a sexy fireman calendar. If the police have one, I’d be willing to change my position, but only after a comprehensive review of the evidence.
Penguins or Puffins: Oh, they’re both so cool. I choose both. A Puffguin.
Chace Crawford or Ryan Gosling: This is the hardest question anyone has ever asked me in my life. After a thorough debate with field experts, and an exhaustive pros and cons list, I’m going to go with Ryan Gosling. Two reasons why: Ryan Gosling in The Notebook pretty much rocked my world, and (as much as it shames me) I’ve never actually seen an episode of Gossip Girl…I know! I KNOW! Getting on that. Also, I’m concerned as to why Channing Tatum was not included here. Just sayin’.
Rock or Pop: Is this a trick question? POP ROCKS!
This was the greatest this-or-that EVER. :) Buckbeak, puffguins, and sexy firefighters. This made my day!
ReplyDeleteI've asked penguins or puffins before, but this is the best answer I've gotten! =D
DeleteI like that "hippogriff" was an option.
ReplyDelete=D Thank you!
DeleteThis is so funny and down to earth! Made me excited to read your book :)
ReplyDeleteIt's really great! I hope you enjoy it!
DeleteKristen, don't feel bad about not knowing that Aston Martin is a car - I don't know who Chace Crawford is.
