Today's guest of honor is debut author Tracy Deebs, the lovely woman behind Tempest Rising. You know, the one with the gorgeous cover of the mermaid with the awesome tattoo, where the main character is a half mermaid? Yeah. That one. So welcome, Tracy!
If you could be any supernatural creature, what would you choose?
A mermaid, of course! Or a dragon—I totally have a thing for dragons as well. But I’d want to be a purple dragon, or maybe a red one.
What is Kona’s favorite thing about Tempest?
He loves her courage, how strong she is, no matter what. And the fact that she plunges into the ocean, becoming what she has feared and hated for so long, just to save him …. What’s a guy not to love?
You find Narnia in the back of your closet! What do you do?
Explore, what else? Seriously, who wouldn’t want to leap into Narnia for a few hours, just to see what it’s really like? But then, I do things like that. Very often, I leap before I look.
What god/goddess would be your nemesis?
My nemesis? Hmmmm …. Well, they’re not really goddesses, but I have to choose the Three Fates. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m not joking when I say Fate is out to get me. My best friend says my life is a soap opera (she’s not far off) and other friends often comment that I’m the reason Murphy’s Law exists.
What kind of cake would you describe yourself as?
Black Forest Cake. I’m find of sweet and frothy, love to decorate myself with all the trappings, but underneath the ornate outside there’s a pretty solid base.
How about you? What kind of cake would you be? Leave a comment for a chance to win a fun spa/pedicure kit, including nail polish in Tempest purple ;)
Contest is US only, and ends May 20.
Chocolate mousse cake. And then id eat myself. Sigh.
