In My Mailbox + Update

Reading wise, I was kind of slow this week but that's partly because I was reading Beautiful Creatures, a nice monster of a book. Right now I'm about half way through Dirty Little Secrets and hope to finish it today. Writing was, I did decently though. I finished 8 chapters of my beloved addict boy and am about half way through another one. If my planning estimates are right, I actually only have another 2-3 chapters after this one and I will be done with my first draft. That is such an amazing feeling and I am really hoping to get that finished by tomorrow- not only to be done, but because that marks exactly one month after the idea sparked and I really like the idea of having it done in just one month.

Tomorrow, my book forum is featuring Beautiful Creatures and Firespell. I know a lot of you have read at least one if not both of these- I definitely recommend hopping on the boards and discussion both of these great titles. Stay tuned for details as well because I tentatively have Chloe Neill slated to jump on the forum this Wednesday night for a chat. I will post details both here and on my forum for that once it's finalized. Links can be posted on my blog tomorrow as well to your reviews of these books so others can see them. Yep, its a little free advertising for everyone and who doesn't like that?

That about sums up my week... today, I plan to get at least this chapter and another finished on addict boy and I really need to clean. I keep telling myself I will clean for 15 minutes, read or write for 30, but I just end up sticking with the reading and writing. Sleeping till 2 might not have helped either but oh well. =)

    Prophecy girl- I've read both TDD and CB- they were amazing. =)

    In the hammock- Toby hates the pics but he tolerates me. He makes the best faces...

    Michelle- I am pretty sure I will throw a party for me and Toby tomorrow if I finish the first draft.

    Miss Cindy - I hope I get through addict boy too... still love this kid... sigh. And yes, Toby was definitely attacked and he just laid there, trying to sleep...

    You got a great group of books this week. I loved Beautiful Creatures and Firespell. I have been wanting to read Bleeding Violet but it was backordered on my last book order. I rolled it over to my next and hope it arrives then but it will be too late for the forum. I have got to read The Dragon Heir series. They have been sitting on my TBR for quite a while.
